Past Chairman Hall Road Rangers, Hall Road Rangers F.C.
Hall Road Rangers F.C. have been members of the Community scheme for the last ten years. This has proven to be a very reliable source of income for the club as the scheme runs every month, hence the cheques for the clubs commission arrive monthly even in the closed season. I highly recommend this scheme to all football clubs who need a regular source of income.
Wayne Dixon
Club Secretary, Middleton Park F.C.
The Community Scheme has supported our club through its use of a newsletter for a long time now and our club has definitely benefited from this financially. We feel that it is money for almost nothing, an hour or so a month collecting information from around the club and e-mailing this to a fantastic team of hard working people who always help us and support us; they understand that running a club with volunteers isn’t always plain sailing and endeavour to keep our club in the local public’s eye and they never let us down.
Gavin Mackinder
Head Of Finance, Hallam F. C.
Hallam Football Club as you are probably aware was formed in 1860 and is the second oldest football club in the world. We also have the privilege of playing continuously for over 150 years at Sandygate which is the oldest football ground in the world. Over the past 10 years “The Community Scheme” through its monthly newsletters and lottery scheme within the community has continued to raise funds annually for Hallam FC in excess of £2000 per annum. As a Community Amateur Sports Club fundraising of this type has enabled us to continue to provide football facilities at Sandygate including our first team who play in the Northern Counties East League, a second team who play in the County Senior League and also a U19 Junior section. We are very grateful for the generous support of “The Community Scheme” and hope it will continue for many years to come.
Brian G Wilcox
Club Secretary, Thornes Juniors F. C.
Thornes Juniors Football Club are pleased to supply this testimonial, as to the merits of being involved with The Community Scheme. We are relative newcomers to the scheme, having only joined at the beginning of this year, but we are pleasantly surprised how simple the process is. The Community Scheme do all the hard work, canvassing and signing up members and distributing the winnings of the draw. All they ask from us, is a monthly newsletter, detailing events at the club, news of how our teams are doing etc. They then distribute the newsletter to the members. A cheque payable to the club then arrives on our doorstep each month. Couldn’t be simpler! We have no hesitation in recommending The Community Scheme
